Food Lovers Fat Loss System – Does Food Lovers Fat Loss Program Work?

This post will be about the Food Lovers Fat Loss System that I see promoted all over the place, including TV. Well, should you invest your money into this program or is there a better alternative?

First of all, let’s talk about what makes fat loss work. A calorie deficit and active tissue that creates a high metabolism = Having a lot of muscle. In the Food Lovers Fat Loss System he talks about eating YOUR FAVORITE FOODS, and if those are Pizza, Hamburgers, Ice Cream and Doritos you’ll not lose weight, no matter how much you exercise. You cannot out-exercise a bad diet.

At first glance you’ll see that Food Lovers Fat Loss System is heavily promoted as a “eat anything and lose weight” program with just a few minutes exercise. In my opinion statements like this should be banned, literally. And it’s an infomercial, most of that stuff is junk that has to do with fitness.

To lose weight you must MOVE YOUR BODY, BUILD MUSCLE and eat right. Even though you might lose fat on the program, it’s not something I’d recommend. You will likely not get into “good habits” which is what makes fat loss permanent. Sure, you might lose weight in the first 21 days, but it will soon come back.

Fad diets never work. I’m not saying Food Lovers Fat Loss System is a fad diet or is promoted as one, but I’m saying that I feel there are better solutions to losing fat out there.

What you need to lose fat, that I do not see used as effective in Food Lovers Fat Loss System is:

Strength Training to build muscle in order to increase your resting metabolic rate. More muscle is more active thus needs more energy to function. Great!

Cardiovascular training to get your heart rate up and fat loss going. This is a perfect example of where intense workouts beat long and boring cardio. There are even ways to combine it with strength training to only perform short workouts 3x per week and triple your results, really!

And last but not least a healthy, balanced diet (nutrition plan) not “freaky diet” that will have you lose 10 lbs of water and muscle, then gain you back 12 lbs of fat. That’s what happens with most “diets”.

What you need is a proven plan that works, that incorporate all three main big components as well as a lifestyle change. Without it you’ll never make it in the long run! Skip the shiny objects and stick to something simple, like Turbulence Training or Fat Burning Furnace.
