Are you looking for the best fat burning foods? Well, here’s a small free list of fat burning foods that might satisfy your search. The trick of fat burning foods is to find foods that have “big volume”, “digest slowly” and have a “thermic effect” without containing too many calories.

So, for example. Protein is a great example of a fat burning food. It has very high thermic effect, and makes you full fast, as well as digests slowly. It is also fairly low on calories for the amount you eat. So, lean cuts of protein should be your main focus in your diet.

Lean meats include:

  • Poultry
  • Grassfed Beef
  • Eggs
  • Fish/Seafood

Another example is vegetables. Pretty much all vegetables are full of fibers, minerals, vitamins and are very low in calories. They make you feel full without getting very many calories in your body. You must eat vegetables to get good benefit of your fat loss plan.

Some good fat burning vegetables are:

  • Broccoli
  • Asparagus
  • Tomato
  • Spinach
  • Bell Peppers

  • etc

These are good and have a lot of C-Vitamin. More fruits that are beneficial for fat loss are:

You might also want to consider getting some berries into your diet, these are great as well!

  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Cranberry (not the sugary juice though)
  • etc etc

You also need to get enough healthy fats, this actually helps you lose fat. Get good fats from good sources such as:

  • Nuts
  • Avocado
  • Fish – Salmon, Cod, Herring etc
  • Olives
  • Olive Oil
  • Seeds – Flaxseeds etc
  • Fish oil
  • Flaxseed oil

These are just some of my own favorite fat burning foods that I like to combine into 6 small meals throuout the day. I might also add some of these foods at times from the dairy section:

  • Low-fat skim milk
  • Cottage Cheese

Calcium actually helps promote fat loss. Make sure it’s low fat and get your fats from healthy, essential fats instead.
